Marcus Martin and Kirsten Bole were both members of the band for the new rock opera Southern Time by Tim Bartsch of Paint, which played at the WISE Hall in Vancouver from December 4-10. Other members of the band included Jeff Smith on guitar, Alex McKechnie on drums, and Ya-Wen Wang on piano.
On September 23-25, Marcus resolved to challenge himself by recording a full-length ambient album in one weekend, and along with Kirsten, produced a full 76 minutes for AmbientArctic.

On November 26, Marcus accompanied Nettwerk artist Adrienne Pierce in an acoustic set of new songs at the Railway Club in Vancouver, opening for Bob Kemmis.
